Captivity, Bondage, Ropes, and Being Ignored

Captivity is an option within my BDSM services where I restrain or confine you and leave you waiting, without my continuous attention or interaction. It works well for a first-timer looking for an easier introduction to domination or for a more experienced client who wants a moment to settle down or recover during a longer session, but you can also just enjoy captivity just because of the feelings it arouses. Captivity differs from a full solo session in that I'm not actively present during it; instead, you are held captive with your own thoughts, within earshot of me. Below you'll find more details on pricing, available restraint methods, safety, and when captivity turns into a solo session.

Why bondage and captivity appeal to people

For many, being restrained or bound is an exciting idea and a fetish in its own right. Others want to get to know me and the BDSM world first, in a way that's a bit more affordable and may be softer than a traditional domination session. Being restrained also calms the mind, which is why it also works well at the start or end of a session. In long, multi-hour sessions, bondage also gives the body a chance to recover between intense experiences.

I have some clients who enjoy captivity more than anything else, and our sessions consist entirely of long stretches of them being restrained. Being tightly bound in rope or a straitjacket soothes the mind and nervous system. Even though I'm not especially submissive myself, being in rope makes me focus on the moment. When the body can't move, thoughts about everything you "should" be doing quiet down. Several of my neurodivergent friends and clients in particular have told me they have the same experience. In bondage you're at my mercy, which can heighten the feeling of submission. Forced stillness lets the mind sink into an arousing fantasy world where the passage of time loses meaning.

Pricing

Captivity alone is a more affordable appointment than a solo session. Check out my rate list (link to price list).

All the restraint methods described in this text are included in the session price, so if you book a session with me, there's no extra charge for bondage or restraints. If you want bondage-only, the minimum price is one hour of bondage. You're of course welcome to stay for less time than that. In combination with a session or some other service of mine, I can also include a half-hour slot of captivity for you. There's no upper limit on how long you can be restrained, but I don't do overnight captivity.

How does bondage-only differ from a rope session or a solo session?

Bondage-only doesn't mean a rope session where I'd be tying you for the entire hour. I put you in restraints and then leave you be. In captivity, I don’t use predicaments either; instead, the restraint is set up so that it is possible to remain in it for an hour. If part of your body starts to go numb, I will adjust your position or loosen the restraints/rope.

If you want a more elaborate setup, position changes multiple times during the hour, or restraints that include your neck, the price is that of a solo session and I will be with you the whole time. The same applies if you want me to do things to you, like insult or spank you while you're restrained. That's also considered a solo session.

Restraint equipment and methods

Captivity includes one restraint setup per hour, in one position. I can secure you to my studio furniture, wall mounts, or restrain you to your own body using shackles, straps, rope, netting, handcuffs, plastic wrap, or tape, among other things. There are many options. Both of my studios are equipped with a straitjacket, a bed, and chairs with armrests suitable for bondage. In Helsinki, I have a cage, an X-cross, and a fuck bench. In Tampere, in addition to the aforementioned items, there is a gynecological chair-table combination and wall mounts. I enjoy creative and unexpected ways of setting up restraints. I have a bondage bag in Helsinki that can also be brought to Tampere, and I regularly transport other smaller pieces of equipment between my studios.

Captivity doesn't have to involve any equipment at all; the restraint can be light or purely psychological. For instance, I can order you into a corner to be ashamed of yourself, use you as a footstool, or you can just be a dog in a bed.

I can use your own equipment for bondage, as long as I first confirm it's safe. I've seen all kinds of things, so I won't accept homemade equipment in particular without inspecting it first.

What I don't do

Although I can tie with rope, I'm not a shibari artist. I don't do rope suspensions. I also don't have the equipment for shackle or straitjacket suspensions in the air. Under no circumstances, even during a session, do I use neck ropes or choking collars for restraint. I also will not leave you alone at my studio or in a hotel room.

Clothing

As with sessions, you can be naked or clothed during captivity. You can also change into kinky attire at the start of the appointment. If you are interested in feminization, I can lend you clothing and shoes designed for feminization and "girl mode." Time spent trying on and putting on clothes counts towards the captivity time.

Safety

I will secure you in a way that ensures that if something unexpected happens, like fainting, you're not left in a dangerous position. For safety reasons, I do not use setups like an unattended collar-and-tether arrangement during a restraint session. Fainting during restraint or bondage is rare, but I always take that possibility into account. Once you are restrained, I will not leave the studio at any point, though I may not remain within your line of sight the entire time. I will be within earshot, and I will likely be lounging comfortably on my sofa for most of that time.

The most important safety factor is that you let me know if any limb or body part goes numb, tingles, or loses sensation. I also want to know if the binding becomes painful, especially if your joints start to ache. Nerve and joint injuries can occur even in a short time if the body's warning signs are ignored. I also want to hear about any psychological discomfort, such as fear or anxiety. Being bound can trigger unpleasant feelings, so it is good to speak up about them before they escalate into panic.

Aftercare

Unlike a solo session, captivity doesn't include a separate aftercare period, but you can build aftercare into the time you book. For instance, if you book a one-hour captivity and would like 15 minutes of aftercare and conversation about your feelings at the end, I will keep you restrained for 45 minutes and then chat with you for the final 15 minutes. Alternatively, you can book an hour of captivity and add the desired amount of aftercare time on top of that.

Questions for first-timers

Are you most drawn to bondage itself, or perhaps just to being ignored? Is there a specific restraint method or maybe a humiliating position you want to try? Are you turned on by total immobility, or would you enjoy the chance to struggle against your restraints? Does the idea of being completely at my mercy with no chance of escape excite you? Or does it add thrill to think that, in theory, as a master of escape you might be able to get free if given enough time? Do you have prior experience, good or bad, with captivity or bondage?

You don't need to have the answers to all of these questions in advance; some things can only be discovered with experience. You're also welcome to give me complete creative freedom, within your boundaries, in how I carry out the captivity.
